UPDATE!!! DAY 7 - OC FAIR COOKIE COMPETITION

I received honorable mention for my cookies!!! WOW! Considering how I whipped this up literally the morning of, I had no expectations for placing. Yay for my "Chewbacca Wookiee Vegan Cookie"!!!

The scale was Superior > Good > Average > Fair. Here were the judge's comments:

Division: Cookies

Class: 10 - Special diet (gluten-free, sugar-free, or vegan)

Appearance: (30%) - Average

Texture: (35%) - Superior

Flavor: (35%) - Superior

Comments: "The hot weather wasn't kind to your chocolate chips. They were melting (it won't affect my decision). I love your recipe title. Seriously, I could eat the entire plate. Love them."

Well, I guess you know what they say: "It's what's on the inside that counts." Better luck next year!
